Matt is a NIH supported postdoctoral research working on translating our magnetically powered microwheel technology into ischemic stroke models in mice. He has developed and constructed a magnetic field apparatus to facilitate the control and imaging of microwheels within the brain. He did his graduate work at the Colorado School of Mines, earning a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering with a focus on tissue engineering. He worked on creating in vitro models to study glaucoma and provide insight into the biomechanical mechanisms of the disease.
